On Wednesday, October 7, 2009 West Union Police responded to a report of a dog at large that had created property damage in the 200 Block of North Oak St. Cited for allowing a dog to run at large within city limits was Kerry Halva-Cash, 39, of West Union.
On Saturday, October 17, 2009 West Union Police cited Allen J. Straka, 20, of Fayette for Driving with a suspended license. Straka was ordered to appear in court at a later date and released.
On Tuesday, October 20, 2009 West Union Police cited Cory Odell, 19, of West Union and Cody Caldwell, 18, of Hawkeye for Possession of Alcohol under the legal age. These charges stem from a traffic stop on Lynx Rd just west of West Union. Both subjects were cited and released.
On Wednesday, October 21, 2009 West Union police cited David B. Alve, 26, of Decorah into court to face charges of violation of the Pseudoephedrine Retail Restrictions. These charges stem from the purchase of pseudoephedrine at West Union pharmacies in August of 2009. Alve is to appear in court at a later date.
